First Lady Sajidha Mohamed attended the closing ceremony of ‘Kids Athletics Day 2025’, held at the Hulhumalé Synthetic Track on Saturday evening.

The one-day event was organised by Club Racers in collaboration with the Athletics Association, the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

During the ceremony, the First Lady, Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, Commissioner of Sports Mohamed Tholal, UNICEF Representative to the Maldives Dr Edward Addai, and President of the Athletics Association of Maldives Musthafa Mohamed, awarded medals to all participating students.

The event aimed to promote healthy habits among children.
