Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced temporary changes to RTL bus services in the Greater Malé area to accommodate Eid prayer arrangements.

According to MTCC, special bus services will operate on the R3 (Malé–Airport), R4 (Hulhumalé Phase 1–Airport) and R9 (Hulhumalé Phase 2–Airport) routes for the convenience of passengers travelling for Eid prayers.

The company stated that the first trips before Eid prayers will operate between 5:30 a.m. and 6:05 a.m., while a second round of trips will begin from 6:35 am.

Following these services, operations on the three routes will be temporarily suspended during Eid prayers, then resume normal schedules from 8:00 a.m. onwards.
