Raudh Ahmed Zilal, who was previously arrested in connection with the fall of 21-year-old Hawwa Yumnu Rasheed on April 18, 2025, has been rearrested and remanded in custody for five days.

Police confirmed that Raudh was initially released on Thursday morning due to procedural issues but was rearrested just hours later under a new order issued by the Criminal Court.

Following his rearrest, Raudh was brought before the court, which granted a five-day remand. He has now been taken into custody multiple times as part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Yumnu's fall. He was previously remanded for 10 days, followed by a 20-day remand issued on May 15.
