A woman has sustained several injuries after falling from the second floor of a residential building in Machchangoalhi, Malé.

The Maldives Police Service stated that the incident, involving a 42-year-old woman who fell from a residential building in Machchangoalhi, was reported at approximately 4:00 a.m.

According to the police, the woman suffered multiple injuries, including strains in both ankles and open fractures.

She is currently undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
