The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art has opened applications for the upcoming session of its Zuvaanunge Holhuashi programme, scheduled for June 30 at the Social Centre in Malé.

The session will centre on the theme of Youth Political Participation, offering a platform for young people to engage in dialogue on key issues, including barriers to political engagement and limited employment opportunities, the Ministry said.

Zuvaanunge Holhuashi is part of a wider initiative to empower youth by fostering open discussions on national issues. During the session, participants will be encouraged to share personal experiences, highlight challenges, and propose ideas to improve access to opportunities and strengthen youth involvement in public affairs.

According to the Ministry, the forum aims to facilitate constructive exchanges between young people and government officials, promoting greater understanding of the role youth can play in shaping national development.

Interested individuals can register by calling 4000567 or scanning the QR code published by the Ministry.

The Zuvaanunge Holhuashi programme complements the Ministry’s broader youth engagement strategy, which includes community outreach, skills training, sports events and information sessions.
