The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Maldives, Yahya Hassan Alqahtani, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef at the President’s Office on July 23.

The conversation centred on the longstanding and friendly relations between the two nations, highlighting the mutual goodwill that has characterised their ties. The Vice President and the Saudi Ambassador discussed the continued partnership between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed the strength of their bilateral cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Vice President expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s consistent support. He conveyed confidence that relations between the two countries would continue to grow in the coming years.
