The first term of the academic year has officially concluded, signalling the start of the mid-year holiday break for students across the country.

All students who completed the first term received their report cards today.

With the commencement of the term break, students will enjoy a 16-day holiday before the second term begins.

The second term is scheduled to begin on 10 August 2025. Students will receive a nine-day mid-term break in September.

This year’s annual school holiday is scheduled to begin in December, during which students will receive a month-and-a-half-long break. The new academic year is expected to commence at the beginning of the year.

This year’s academic year, which began in May, commenced with a total enrolment of 96,000 students across the country, including 83,000 in government schools and 13,000 in private institutions.
