Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) will temporarily close its OPD walkway and Gate 1 from 9:00 p.m. on 24 July until 3:00 a.m. on 26 July 2025, for essential maintenance work aimed at enhancing patient access and facility services.

During this period, the hospital has directed visitors to use the entrances near the Emergency Department and Sunset Canteen for access. Patients attending the Dialysis Centre are advised to enter via the walkway leading to the MRI Centre. In addition, the Stroke Centre has been relocated to the High Dependency Unit (HDU) within the ENT Ward for the duration of the maintenance.

The temporary rerouting is part of IGMH’s continued infrastructure enhancement programme aimed at modernising facilities and streamlining patient services. As part of ongoing developments, the hospital is also preparing to launch in-house optical services on 27 July, further expanding access to essential medical services.
