The national swimming team has departed for Singapore to represent the Maldives at the World Aquatics Championships 2025, which is scheduled to take place from 11 July to 3 August.

Maldivian athletes will compete in the swimming events, which will be held from 27 July to 1 August.

The World Aquatics Championships is a premier international competition organised by World Aquatics, the global governing body for aquatic sports. Held biennially, the event features elite athletes from across the globe competing in disciplines such as swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, high diving, and open water swimming.
