The Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced a temporary change to its household waste collection schedule for today, 27 July, in connection with the ongoing Independence Day celebrations.

According to the corporation, waste will be collected from households between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. this evening. The adjustment has been made to accommodate activities related to the 60th anniversary of Maldivian independence.

WAMCO expressed regret for any inconvenience the change may cause and thanked the public for their continued cooperation.
