The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has announced that Maldivian businesses are invited to participate in the 41st Pakistan International Handmade Carpet Exhibition 2025. 

The invitation was extended by the government of Pakistan, offering local enterprises a platform to showcase their products, particularly in the handmade carpet and rug industry, to an international audience. The event, set to take place from 7 to 9 October in Lahore, is organised by the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

The Ministry confirmed that approved participants will receive free accommodation for three nights at the exhibition venue and may be eligible for additional benefits offered by the organisers.

Interested parties are required to submit a completed application form to [email protected] by 14 August 2025. The opportunity is intended to allow Maldivian businesses to engage with foreign markets and explore possible connections within the global carpet trade sector.
