The Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives International Exhibition and Culinary Challenge 2025 has officially opened in Malé.
The event was inaugurated by Mohamed Saeed, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, who toured the exhibition stalls following the ceremony.
Bringing together a broad range of participants, the exhibition has attracted more than 150 exhibitors from Germany, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore. According to organisers, the event features over 7,000 international brands, with more than 100 new products scheduled for launch during the exhibition. Complementing the product showcases, a global culinary challenge is being held with competitors from over 20 countries.
Expanding its scope, this year’s edition introduces a new category dedicated to tea leaves and tea, titled “Tea Sommeliers”. This addition is designed to highlight the skills of tea experts, underlining the exhibition’s commitment to showcasing both established and emerging areas of the hospitality sector.
The exhibition is also presenting advancements in food production, kitchen and hotel equipment, spa and wellness products, as well as safety and security solutions. .
