A tornado struck Maradhoo-Feydhoo today, causing considerable damage to both public and private property.

The roofs of seven homes, a mosque, and a funeral home were torn off during the incident.

Authorities, including a response team from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), are actively assisting affected households.

According to the Maldives Meteorological Service, weather conditions are generally fine across the country, with west to northwesterly winds at 10–20 mph and moderate seas, though thundershowers are expected in southern atolls.
