The Maldives National Air Traffic Service (MNATS) has announced that it will hold an Open Day at Velana International Airport on Saturday, 20 September 2025.

The event, scheduled from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, aims to showcase the services provided by MNATS, offer visitors the opportunity to tour its facilities, and highlight the work of staff across various areas of the National Air Navigation Service.

Participation will be limited to 200 people, and advance registration is required. Registration will remain open until 11 September, but will close earlier if the allotted slots are filled.

MNATS stated that the Open Day reflects its commitment to enhancing public awareness of air traffic management and the vital role it plays in ensuring safe and efficient aviation operations in the Maldives.
