A residential home in Fuvahmulah City's Miskiymagu district was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out Tuesday night, leaving seven residents displaced but uninjured.

According to City Council member Abdulla Nasir, the fire started around 9:40 p.m. at a house named Shiva and was attended to by MNDF Fire and Rescue services by 9:55 p.m. The structure was already burned beyond use by the time the fire was brought under control.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) confirmed they received reports of the incident and have relocated the affected residents to safe areas.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
