Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (SPMSCL). Haleem previously served as the CEO of the Malé City Group of Hospitals. The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) also appointed Aishath Mohamed and Shibana Abdulla Didi as board members, while Dr Shah Mahir was appointed as Managing Director of the corporation.

Established on 9 September 2025, SPMSCL is a 100 per cent State-owned company tasked with expanding and managing the procurement and supply of medicines, medical consumables, and medical equipment across the Maldives.
