The first in a series of meetings between President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and the business community will be held tomorrow night, with the initial session dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Chief Spokesperson at the President’s Office Heena Waleed said the meeting for SMEs will take place at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Social Centre. The Government has invited Maldivian SMEs to participate in the discussion.

The meeting is part of President Dr Muizzu’s ongoing initiative to engage directly with the public, seek opinions and consultations, understand concerns, and listen firsthand to the needs of different segments of society.

The SME-focused meeting forms part of a series of public engagements being held by the President across the Greater Malé Region. As part of this initiative, President Dr Muizzu has already met with residents of Villimalé, Maafannu and Mahchangolhi.

The President is scheduled to meet with residents of Galolhu tonight at Imaduddin School. He will also meet with residents of Hulhumalé Phase II on Thursday night, continuing the series of direct consultations with communities.
