A Culture and Food Festival is set to welcome the New Year with a range of cultural, culinary, and entertainment activities in Hulhumalé.

The event, titled Culture and Food Festival 2025, is being organised by Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

The festival will run from 30 December 2025 to 1 January 2026 and will be held in Hulhumalé.

Visit Maldives said the event will feature a variety of cultural performances, entertainment activities, and food stalls showcasing diverse cuisine. A special drone show, which was introduced during New Year’s Eve 2024, will be held again this year, alongside fireworks displays and other festive attractions.

The organisers have also opened opportunities for interested parties to partner with or sponsor the festival.

The Culture and Food Festival 2025 will be open to both locals and tourists visiting the Maldives and is expected to offer family-friendly activities suitable for participants of all age groups.
