The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) has announced the ‘IFRS and ISAs Forum 2024,’ set to take place on December 14 and 15 at the Umar Zahir Building.

According to CA Maldives President, Mohamed Halim Abdulla, the forum will offer insights into the latest developments in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA). International experts will lead training sessions, making it an invaluable opportunity for accounting professionals.

This year’s forum, the third since its inception in 2022, will also include the newly introduced IFRS Sustainability Standards(SDS). Approximately 300 participants have already registered.

Established in 2020 under the Chartered Accountants of Maldives Act, CA Maldives was created to advance the accountancy profession in the Maldives, ensuring alignment with global standards and fostering professional excellence.
