Tree Top Hospital (TTH) has awarded four scholarships to students pursuing training as nurses.

These scholarships were presented at a ceremony led by Susan Herbert, the Director of Nursing at TTH, with four out of the fifteen applicants selected for the honour.

During the ceremony, the CEO of TTH, Dr. Srivatsan Sridhar, described the scholarships as a vital investment in human resource development and expressed hope that the recipients would make significant contributions to the Maldivian healthcare sector upon completing their studies.

The scholarship was open to Maldivian citizens who had secured a placement in the relevant nursing program and were not receiving any other educational scholarships from another institution. Awardees have the opportunity to pursue a diploma or undergraduate degree at Villa College.

Launched in 2021, TTH's nursing scholarship program has already supported 15 nurses, with seven currently working at the hospital.

Tree Top Hospital, established in 2018, now has over 35 specialised centres. The hospital is committed to being a leader in healthcare innovation in the Maldives, continuously striving to enhance services and improve efficiencies.
