President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the Dhiffushi Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) on Monday to discuss the island's key development priorities.

The meeting, held at the Secretariat of the Huraa Council, saw Council members raise several key issues, including the urgent need for shore protection measures, upgrading the school to A-Level standards, and enhancing healthcare services on the island. At the same time, the Women’s Development Committee stressed the importance of establishing a multi-purpose hall to support their activities.

During the discussion, the President and Cabinet Ministers provided updates on the ongoing and upcoming development projects planned for the island.

President Dr Muizzu reassured the Government will address the concerns raised, with relevant Ministries and agencies and take the necessary actions.
