The Ministry of Social and Family Development has introduced a new online platform to facilitate support for its trust fund and ongoing social programmes.
The Ministry stated that the new platform is designed to make its services more accessible to the public. Through the platform, users can easily access information on the Ministry’s work and contribute to its initiatives.
Individuals who wish to provide financial assistance to the trust fund can now do so conveniently via the website. Donations can be made through the “Bandeyri Pay” portal, operated by the Ministry of Finance and Planning.
The website also outlines key areas where support can be extended. These include providing food assistance to families facing hardship, supporting vulnerable families and children through welfare programmes, and sponsoring children to assist with their education, healthcare, and basic needs.
In addition, individuals can register as volunteers or interns to work alongside the Ministry’s teams and contribute directly to community-focused initiatives. The platform also allows people to offer general assistance by contributing their time, skills, or resources to families in need.
The Ministry noted that the website serves as a central hub for up-to-date information on its services and programmes, while also simplifying the process of contributing to social support efforts.
