Jaleel pledges to work with Government to implement Malé master plan

Malé City mayoral candidate Major (Rtd) Moosa Ali Jaleel has pledged to work closely with the Government to implement the master plan for the capital, stating that coordinated efforts would help transform Malé into a more liveable environment for residents.

Speaking at the PNC rally, Jaleel said the President’s vision for the Greater Malé area can be realised through strong cooperation, expressing confidence that development of the city can be elevated to a new level with the support of party members and Government institutions.

He stated that he is committed to delivering tangible results, noting that his approach is action-oriented, and that he aims to implement planned initiatives while addressing long-standing challenges faced by residents.

Jaleel also highlighted that improving housing conditions and resolving key urban issues would be prioritised from the outset, emphasising that efforts would begin from day one to improve the quality of life for residents across Malé City.

He further said that the initiative is aimed at ensuring better living conditions for every household, expressing optimism that the proposed changes would bring long-term benefits to the city and its residents.
