Four people were injured in a brawl between two groups in Vilimalé on Friday afternoon, police have said.

The Maldives Police Service said the incident occurred in Kandholhuma Goalhi and was reported to police at 3:12 pm.

Police said four Maldivian men, aged 18, 22, 27 and 31, sustained injuries in the altercation and were taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident is under investigation.
