The People's National Congress (PNC) has announced the candidates it will endorse in the upcoming Local Government Authority (LGA) Board elections for councillors and Women's Development Committee chairpersons.

In a statement, the party named Faafu Nilandhoo Council President Ali Ahmed as its endorsed candidate and Shaviyani Funadhoo Women's Development Committee President Mariyam Zeena as its candidate for the categories.

The election to choose councillor and Women's Development Committee representatives to the LGA Board is scheduled to be held on August 8.
