Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef has inaugurated Health Expo 2024, a two-day event organised by the Ministry of Health to promote public awareness of health initiatives and healthy living.

Held at Hulhumalé Central Park on Thursday night, the event highlights the accomplishments of the Maldivian health sector, including the launch of a special publication, Hafuthaa 52, which documents achievements in the first year of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s administration.

Following opening ceremony, the Vice President toured the 50 stalls set up at the expo, featuring hospitals, clinics, and civil society organisations from the greater Malé region. Open to the public, these stalls provide information on health services, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, and showcase the collaborative efforts of the Maldives' health sector in building a healthier community.
