President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has sent official congratulations to Kosovo as the European nation marks its Independence Day on February 17.

In his message, President Dr Muizzu conveyed warm wishes on behalf of the Maldivian government and its citizens to Kosovo's President Dr Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The Maldivian leader extended personal messages of goodwill for the health and happiness of Kosovo's leadership while expressing hopes for the nation's continued development and prosperity.

Kosovo observes its Independence Day annually on February 17, commemorating the day it declared independence.
