The Minister of Transport of Civil Aviation, Mohamed Ameen, has departed for Qatar to attend the ministerial segment of the Facilitation Conference organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

During this discussion, they will discuss the measures that could be taken to improve air transportation services and to establish policies to continue this service in a sustainable manner. 

This conference will be held in Qatar from 14 to 17 this month, with the ministerial segment to be held on 17. During this segment, this segment ministers from ICAO member states will discuss extensive measures to further strengthen the global aviation sector. 

According to the Tourism Ministry, a special resolution on the “Doha Declaration on Facilitation of International Air Transport 2025” is scheduled to be adopted. 

This resolution is based on steps to further develop and strengthen global air transportation by increasing security measures using the latest technology, improving the quality of the service, and establishing policies to protect the rights of the passengers.
