Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has met with members of the Hajj Corporation at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to ensure that quality services are provided to Hajj pilgrims.

During the meeting held on Sunday, the Minister of Islamic Affairs urged members of the Hajj Mission to fully uphold their responsibilities and ensure that comprehensive services are provided to Maldivian pilgrims.

The Minister also urged the Hajj Corporation to work closely with the pilgrims to address any difficulties they may face. 

To facilitate closer support for Maldivian pilgrims, there is a Hajj mission in Saudi Arabia, comprising members of the Hajj Corporation, a medical doctor, and a religious scholar. 

This year’s first group of Hajj pilgrims is set to depart on May 26.
