The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched an investigation and search operation following the disappearance of a 34-year-old man in Gaafu Dhaalu Nadellaa.

The missing individual, identified as Adam Ibrahim, was last seen on May 11 after disembarking from a boat that had docked near Nadellaa. According to police, Adam did not return to the vessel after going ashore, prompting a missing person report at approximately 10:25 p.m. that night.

A police team was immediately dispatched to Nadellaa, where a search was carried out throughout the island and surrounding forest areas. Authorities confirmed that efforts to locate Adam continued, but no developments have yet been reported.
