Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan, has assured that this Government will not wrongfully frame any citizen.

Minister Ihusaan made this statement, speaking at the fifth Ahaa Forum last night, in response to allegations of wrongfully framing the former Immigration Controller, Sham’aan Waheed. 

He assured that the Government will not wrongfully accuse anyone, emphasizing that the law will be enforced fairly, without discrimination, and without violating the rights of any citizen.

He further stated that law enforcement agencies will be strictly monitored to ensure that investigations are conducted fairly.

Minister Ihsan described Sham'an as an exceptional individual and one of the most outstanding people he has worked with to date. However, he assured that action will be taken against those who violate the law.
