A man suffered massive injuries after being hit by a launch while diving. 

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) received the report of the case last night at approximately 10:30 p.m. 

MPS stated that the injured man is a 30-year-old Bangladeshi national. 

He sustained severe injuries, including an amputation of his arm from the elbow.

Currently, he is being treated at the ADK Hospital. 

MPS is further investigating the case.
