Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art has concluded this year’s Youth Camp held in Kudagiri Picnic Island.

This year’s Youth Camp was a one-day event held on May 31.

This year’s camp saw strong youth participation, with a total of 65 young individuals taking part in the event.

In a post shared on X, the Youth Ministry stated that the camp began with an orientation session, followed by interactive workshops focused on team building, leadership, self-confidence, and assertiveness.

An important health session was also carried out focusing on vape awareness.

The Ministry also conducted beach games as part of the camp activities and awarded certificates to all participants.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Youth Camp, Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Information Technology Ali Shamaan expressed hope that participants would apply the lessons learned during the camp, noting that this was one of the camp’s primary objectives.

The Youth Ministry has been organising Youth Camps annually, with last year’s camp held at Farukolhufushi in collaboration with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC). That edition saw the participation of 46 youth.
