Eid Al-Adha mass prayers set for four areas in GMR

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that mass congregation Eid Al-Adha prayers will be held in four designated locations and 24 other mosques across the Greater Malé Region.
Eid Al-Adha falls on June 6 this year.
Ministry revealed that mass congregation Eid Prayers will be held in the Maafannu Stadium, Vilimale Football Ground, Hulhumale Stadium, and the Cricket Stadium at Hulhumale Phase Two.
Eid prayers will also be held in 24 other locations in the Greater Malé Region. These are:
- Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Thakurufaan Auzam
- Masjid Maliki Salman
- Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Bin Abdulla
- Masjidul Furqan
- Masjidul Noor
- Masjidul Shaheed Ali
- Masjidul Sultan Hassan Izzuddeen
- Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Fareedul Awwal
- Masjidul Shaheed Abdul Rahman
- Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Shamsuddin
- Masjidul Salaahuddin
- Masjidul Jalaaluddin
- Masjid Ibrahim
- Masjid Iskandar Vaguthee Miskiy (Boduge)
- Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Imaaduddin
- Masjid Sheikh Mohamed Jameel Didi
- Masjid Afeefuddin Ziyaarai Miskiy

The ministry noted that mass prayers will proceed only if weather conditions permit. In the event of bad weather, Eid prayers will be held instead at the Friday Mosque.
