President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his congratulations to Poland’s President-elect Karol Nawrocki on his victory in the presidential runoff.

Karol Nawrocki was elected President of Poland in the runoff election held on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He secured 50.89 per cent of the vote, narrowly defeating liberal Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, who received 49.11 per cent.

President Dr Muizzu expressed confidence that President-elect Nawrocki’s leadership would bring about the progress the Polish people aspire to. He also conveyed his best wishes for Nawrocki’s success, good health, and happiness, as well as continued peace and prosperity for the people of Poland.
