The Maldives Police Service held a heartwarming Eid celebration for children at Fiyavathi on Saturday, featuring gift-giving and a special lunch.

According to police, the event was organised with the support of a generous well-wisher who arranged lunch for the children under state care. Officers from the Hulhumalé Police Station then presented Eid gifts and spent quality time with the children, who enjoyed some joyful and memorable moments.

The Maldives Police Service has organised similar activities in the past to mark occasions such as Eid, as part of its community engagement efforts.
