President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have returned to Malé following an unofficial visit to Singapore.

The couple arrived back in the capital on Tuesday evening. The President and First Lady departed the Maldives on 31 July for the unofficial trip. The purpose of the visit has not been disclosed.

This marks President Dr Muizzu’s second visit to Singapore this year, including a previous State Visit on June 29, 2025.
