BML launches ‘Experience Maldives’ destination campaign with American Express

Bank of Maldives (BML) and American Express have launched the fourth edition of the “Experience Maldives” destination campaign, a two-year initiative offering exclusive travel perks for American Express Card Members.

Backed by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) and the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM), the campaign provides curated discounts of 10–30 per cent on spa treatments, beach dining, and water activities, along with complimentary upgrades, floating breakfasts, and other premium experiences across resorts, liveaboards, and local merchants.

BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef stated that the partnership highlights the Maldives’ natural beauty and rich culture while boosting its reputation as a luxury travel destination. Divya Jain, Vice President and General Manager of American Express Global Network Services for Asia and South Pacific Growth Markets, added that the initiative strengthens the Maldives’ status as a premier getaway for affluent travellers.

The “Experience Maldives” campaign follows successful runs in 2017, 2019, and 2023, continuing to offer American Express Card Members exclusive access to high-end services and unique island experiences
