Ooredoo Maldives has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to introduce Google Workspace, Google’s suite of productivity and collaboration tools, to businesses across the Maldives.

The collaboration is a key step in Ooredoo’s efforts to support digital transformation among local enterprises, providing access to global-standard tools designed to enhance efficiency, connectivity, and data security.

Google Workspace integrates essential business applications, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Meet, and Chat, enabling teams to work and collaborate seamlessly from anywhere. The cloud-based platform offers features such as real-time collaboration, secure file storage, and advanced administrative controls to strengthen business operations across sectors.

According to Ooredoo Maldives, local businesses adopting Google Workspace will benefit from professional business email, integrated cloud security, and local technical support, with flexible pricing and packages tailored to different organisational needs.

Commenting on the initiative, Ooredoo Maldives CEO and Managing Director Khalid Al-Hamadi said the partnership aims to empower Maldivian businesses to grow and compete in the digital economy.

Ooredoo’s Chief Business Officer Rajesh Mehta added that the company will offer customised Google Workspace solutions supported by Ooredoo’s ICT expertise and global technology partnerships.

The partnership reflects Ooredoo’s continued focus on expanding digital services in the Maldives and supporting businesses through advanced technological solutions.
