First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has taken part in a door-to-door campaign in Fuvahmulah City as part of activities ahead of the upcoming Local Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) elections.

During the visit, the First Lady met residents across the city, visiting several households and engaging directly with families while listening to their concerns. She also held discussions with People’s National Congress (PNC) candidates contesting in Fuvahmulah constituencies, including mayoral candidate Ali Maseeh.

The First Lady arrived in Fuvahmulah on Monday evening and was welcomed by residents. Prior to the visit, she conducted similar campaign activities in Thinadhoo City, where she also met with candidates and members of the public. She is scheduled to continue her visits to Addu City as part of the ongoing campaign.

She was accompanied by ministers and members of the PNC during the engagements. The PNC has been carrying out campaign activities nationwide ahead of the elections scheduled for 4 April, which will also coincide with a referendum on holding presidential and parliamentary elections on the same day.
