The national airline of the Maldives, Maldivian, has signed an agreement with SriLankan Airlines to enhance network connectivity and improve passenger services.

Maldivian said the partnership aims to integrate the networks of the two airlines, allowing passengers to benefit from expanded travel options and more seamless connections.

Under the agreement, passengers travelling through SriLankan Airlines’ international network will be able to connect to 17 domestic destinations operated by Maldivian.

The arrangement will also facilitate smoother travel for tourists visiting the Maldives, enabling easier access to domestic islands via Colombo, while providing Maldivian passengers with broader connectivity to international destinations.

The airline said the partnership is expected to strengthen regional cooperation and enhance overall service delivery for passengers travelling between the Maldives and global destinations.
