People’s National Congress (PNC) candidate for the upcoming North Hithadhoo by-election, Mohamed Sinan, has said he will work together with his primary opponent Ahmed Saeed to support the development of Addu City.

Sinan made the remarks on his official X account following his victory in Saturday’s PNC primary for North Hithadhoo constituency.

He noted that both he and Saeed entered the race with the aim of bringing positive change to Addu City, expressing hope that they will continue to work together towards securing the Hithadhoo seat in the by-election.

In Saturday’s primary, Sinan secured 226 votes, defeating Hithadhoo Moolekede Councillor Ahmed Saeed with 187 votes.
