Fenaka Corporation Limited has said no changes have been made to electricity billing during the current peak consumption period, amid public concern over increased charges for March.
In a statement, the company said electricity readings for March and the preparation of bills were carried out using standard procedures applied in previous months, in accordance with existing laws and regulations.
Fenaka assured that no bills were issued in violation of its policies, adding that it has not implemented any reductions or alterations to billing methods during the high-demand period.
The company said assistance will be provided to customers who suspect errors in their bills, including support to verify meter readings where necessary.
Fenaka also advised the public to use electricity cautiously during the peak months of March, April and May, noting that higher consumption is typical during this period due to seasonal conditions.
