Housing Development Corporation has announced that road repair works in Hulhumalé Phases I and II will be carried out in stages, with temporary closures expected in selected areas during the project.

HDC said the ongoing road development works are being implemented with consideration to challenges faced by road users, with efforts to carry out repairs in a way that minimises disruption while improving road conditions.

The corporation stated that certain areas will be closed temporarily during construction to ensure public safety, advising residents and motorists to avoid restricted zones and follow instructions displayed on traffic management boards.

HDC apologised for any inconvenience caused to transport and daily movement, expressing appreciation for public cooperation as the project progresses.
