President Dr Mohamed Muizzu reaffirmed his zero-tolerance stance on corruption, pledging swift action against officials involved in illegal practices. In a WhatsApp message to State-owned enterprise executives, he stressed that corrupt activities or undue advantages would not be tolerated. This follows concerns over land allocation outside the Binveriya scheme, now under investigation, with HDC’s Managing Director and board members suspended, except for the newly appointed Chairman.
