The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has dismissed 15 employees, including senior officials, following an internal investigation that confirmed irregularities in Hulhumalé land and flat allocations. The case involves alleged improper allocation of land to the former Managing Director's brother, Mohamed Fazeel Rasheed, leading to both police and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) investigations, and the resignation of Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed. New security measures are being implemented at HDC, including stricter controls on data sharing and a 48-hour window for identifying irregularities.
