Police raided former Housing Development Corporation (HDC)'s Managing Director Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed's home regarding irregular land allocations under housing schemes, seizing electronic devices and other evidence. Fazul is accused of improperly granting land to his brother Ibrahim Fazeel Rasheed through the Binveriya scheme. He stepped down from his position on December 21, while authorities imposed travel bans on over 20 individuals and HDC dismissed 15 employees.
