The Utility Regulatory Authority (URA) inaugurated its co-operative society and issued permanent operating licences during a ceremony on December 26, officiated by Minister of State for Climate Change, Environment, and Energy, Ali Faris Yoosuf. Minister Faris highlighted the significance of these developments in improving efficiency and accountability in the utility sector, which the URA has actively advanced since its establishment in 2020.
