The Ministry of Social and Family Development has reported a decline in individuals requiring state custody due to successful programmes like IBAMA, social mentoring, and the ‘Haalu Kihineh?’ initiative. These efforts, including door-to-door visits and targeted support, are addressing social issues such as domestic violence, child abuse, and food insecurity, improving the well-being of vulnerable families. The Ministry plans to expand these initiatives and use gathered data to tailor policies that better meet the needs of local communities.
