The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has introduced a policy prioritising higher education assistance through the Zakat Fund, focusing on financial need, academic qualifications, and service to the country. Scholarships will cover tuition fees for accredited programmes from level 5 to level 10, with priority given to low-income individuals, while exceptions apply to those pursuing higher qualifications or Islamic studies.
